I dont usually like cities all that much. However , I loved Edinburgh and could have spent a lot longer there. The look of it is very gothic. Beautiful old buildings, little alleyways that lead to cool places, hills surrounding the city with hikes , friendly people. Great city. I only spent 3 days there but wish I could have spent a week. Edinburgh is a stunning city and you’re so right about being able to spend longer there. We’ve visited several times and it’s never long enough. Fabulous photos.

Yes, I loved it and I am not a city person. Much prefer the country. However there are some cities I love. San Francisco , Edinburgh, Rome, Venice, New Orleans. San Miguel de Allende. These are my top cities for now !!
